A Traveler’s Tale
It was many years ago when I took my then-fiance on a trip to Arizona. He had never been there, never really left the midwest, and I, having family there, was in love with the state. That love renewed every time I was able to visit. I felt connected to the lands, loved learning the history. I had hoped to live there one day.
I was fortunate enough on this trip to enjoy the Colorado River, just a bit south of Lake Havasu in Parker Arizona. I took many photos, of course, but one photo stood out for me. I was on a wave runner and had gone a fair bit down the river to where it was a bit more calm, quiet. I took the photo from the center of the river, looking along with its flow to the mountains in the distance, surrounded by desert on both sides.
That photo captured serenity for me. I used it as a focal point when I was giving birth to my son a couple of years later. Just seeing it brought me back to a place of peace. I still treasure it but, age has faded the image somewhat.
That is where Photograms came in. I discovered the website, thephotograms.com, and saw the magic it could perform with all my photos. I chose an option and uploaded the photo to photograms. It did not take long before I received that beloved photo printed on The Pro, a borderless 11×14 print that seems to float as I hang it on my wall. Better yet, photograms uses a process that coats their product, protecting it from light and age damage! Now, I will be able to feel the serenity of that moment in Arizona for years to come.
